2009 West Coast Shootout
The West Coast Shootout hockey tournament has emerged as one of the elite offseason events for high school players in Michigan. Games are played at Lakeshore Ice Rink in Muskegon, just minutes from the beaches of Lake Michigan, golf courses and a wide range of summer entertainment options. The tournament is organized by Reeths-Puffer varsity hockey coach Eric Sikkenga and has grown over the years. The 2009 Shootout will feature 20 teams in two "divisions" representing the state's east and west sides.
This blogspot has been created as a way to track teams participating in the tournament, schedules and other useful information. The site has been created by the West Michigan High School Hockey Blog as a service to Shootout's organizers and teams participating in the tournament.
